Daegen Love and Finn Willson sign with the Louisiana Drillers

The Louisiana Drillers of the NA3HL are proud to announce the signing of a pair of goalies for the upcoming 2023-24 Season.

Finn Willson, from Fairbanks, Alaska, played last year in the USPHL for the Minnesota Moose posting a 6-5 record with a 3.05 SV% and .902 GAA.  Finn is excited to be in Louisiana and help the Drillers build on last season’s success. Head Coach Chris Francis on Finn, “Finn is a wonderful young man with an amazing work ethic on and off the ice.  During camp so far, I have loved seeing him battle on the ice and really gel with his teammates.”

Daegen Love, from Eagle River, Alaska, is coming off a tremendous season where he backstopped Chugiak High in Alaska with a 10-1 record (8 shutouts) and .971 save percentage. “Daegen has looked great in training camp so far.  His workout ethic every day is very contagious, and you can see he really wants to compete and get to the next level.  I expect great things from him this upcoming season,” says Head Coach Chris Francis.

The Drillers open the season on the road with two back-to-back weekends against the Mid-City Stars and Texas RoadRunners.  The team returns to Lafayette for their home opener on October 6th against the team that ended their last season, the Texas Brahmas!

General admission is $8 for adults, $5 for youth and kids under 5 years old are free. We hope to see everyone in attendance this season as we PACK THE PLANET for another successful Louisiana Drillers hockey season! Geaux Drillers!
