The Louisiana Drillers of the NA3HL are proud to announce the signing of Forwards, Christian Starr and C.J. Stranathan for the 2023-24 season!
Christian is from Tracy, California and we are looking forward to having him here in Louisiana for his first year of junior hockey. “I met Christian in Colorado for the CCM showcase and really wanted him to be a part of this team this season. He has skill and determination to be better every day. I am excited to teach him and see where this season will take him.” Coach Francis told us.
C.J Stranathan is a native of Owensboro, KY and entering his first season of junior hockey. C.J is a gifted young player with a ton of potential and we are excited he is here with the Drillers. Coach had this to say about C.J. “I started talking with C.J and his family early in the summer. A player I did not think I would get but I am so excited he put the trust in me to accept playing for the Drillers this season. He has so much speed and skill and after a year at this level I believe he can do great things.”
The Drillers open the season on the road with two back-to-back weekends against the Mid-City Stars and Texas RoadRunners. The team returns to Lafayette for their home opener on October 6th against the team that ended their last season, the Texas Brahmas!
