The Louisiana Drillers of the NA3HL are proud to announce the signing of Forward, Brendan Johnson and Defenseman, Ethan Littlefield for the 2023-24 season!
Brendan Johnson from Seattle, Washington is a top forward that will come in and really produce for the Louisiana Drillers. He spent his time with the Lake Tahoe Lakers posting 8 goals and 8 assists in 19 games and scoring 4 goals with 1 assist in 8 games for Tahoe Prep Academy. Coach Francis comments on Brendan. “I have had communication with Brendan and his family since last season when I was with the Odessa Jackalopes (NAHL). He is a great player that will at one point get his chance to get to the next level. He is a big body that loves to score goals and get to the net.”
Ethan Littlefield, a native of Moore, Oklahoma is back again with the Drillers. Ethan is looking forward to his role increasing this season and pushing this team to success. Last season Ethan played in 27 games scoring 1 goal and adding 3 assists. “Ethan is a great kid! I got to watch him for the first time this summer at the Oklahoma City Warriors (NAHL) main camp and I really enjoyed his game. Cannot wait to see how much more he will improve this season and be a leader on the back end for us,” said coach Francis.
The Drillers open the season on the road with two back-to-back weekends against the Mid-City Stars and Texas RoadRunners. The team returns to Lafayette for their home opener on October 6th against the team that ended their last season, the Texas Brahmas!
