The Louisiana Drillers of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that right-handed defenseman, Frank Steinway has resigned for his final year of junior hockey. “Locking up Frank early in the recruiting process is huge for our organization, Frank is our captain and leader both on and off the ice, his work ethic and drive to win are exactly the types of traits we want to build around,” commented coach Weingartner. Frank is listed at 5’10”, 175 pounds and has amassed 124 games in a Driller uniform over the last 3 seasons recording 13 goals and 51 assists for 64 points. Last season, Frank reached personal highs in both goals and assists, scoring 6 goals while adding 35 assists for 41 points, while playing top pairing minutes against other team’s top players. Frank said, “One of the many reasons I chose to re-sign with the Louisiana Drillers was because of the environment and that I get to do something I love everyday with amazing teammates and staff, and I get to play for an amazing fan base that is excited for our success.” “My time in Louisiana has been stellar and I am looking forward to playing my last season of juniors as a Louisiana Driller,” said Steinway.
