Drillers Announce Tyler Barr As Assistant Coach

The Louisiana Drillers, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce the addition of Tyler Barr from Vancouver, British Columbia to the organization as General Manager and Assistant Coach. Barr started his pro career in Pensacola, then New Jersey, Louisiana with the IceGators, the three time Kelly Cup Champion Allen Americans and most recently with the Mississippi Riverkings where he was voted “fan favorite”. Tyler is a physical competitor with a passion for the game. As a dedicated team player, he set the tone on and off the ice. Now that he recently retired from playing, he wants to inspire his players to advance to the next level. “I’m very excited for this opportunity and I’m ready to share my knowledge of the game to help these players get to the next level”, said Barr. With Tyler Barr joining the coaching staff, the Drillers will now have 2 former professional players leading them into the 2017-18 NA3HL season. The ownership group in Louisiana is ecstatic with this signing and to have this much experience on the bench and off the ice leading a young organization into the future was unimaginable two years ago. Tyler is going to be a huge asset to the Drillers and the organization is extremely happy to add him to our coaching staff! The Louisiana Drillers will hold their Main Camp on August 28-31 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Season tickets and flex tickets are now available by contacting ladrillers.com.
