The Louisiana Drillers of the NA3HL, would like to announce the signing of Ethan Littlefield for the 2022-23 season.
Ethan is the younger brother of former Driller Chris Littlefield who played 71 games over the past two seasons. “Chris invited Ethan out to practice late in the season, I felt Ethan skated well and had a good hockey IQ, I think as a ’05 he could have played for us last year. He is a young versatile player that can play both defense or forward and we look for him to bring the same energy his brother Chris brought each day to practice and games. Like most younger players, Ethan will have to focus on training and a good nutrition program to help gain some weight. Ethan will have strong leadership around him, we will have 4 twenty-year-old defensemen including returning captains Frank Steinway and Tyler Walker as well as Swedes Lukas Dany and Joel Liljegren”, stated coach Weingartner. Just a 2005, this will be Ethan’s rookie season, the right-handed defenseman is listed at 6’, 145lbs and is originally from Moore, Oklahoma. Last season he played 44 games at the U16AAA level for the East Coast Spartans, scoring 2 goals and added 4 assists for 6 points, he also played in 16 games in the NAPHL 16U division scoring 3 assists. Prior to playing for East Coast, Ethan played one season at the U16 level for Potomac in the USPHL and Tulsa for his U14AA season.
